Mark started his career in dental technology in 1988 working in a commercial laboratory, gaining his OND from Liverpool and HNC in dental technology from Manchester Metropolitan Universities. He moved to North Manchester General Hospital in 1996 where he gained his advanced qualification in maxillofacial technology.
Mark set up Sinclair Orthodontics in 2000 whilst also working at Booth Hall on a commercial basis. When Booth Hall closed Mark continued to assist with services at Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital along with setting up a satellite laboratory at Hope Hospital in Manchester where he spends two days a week providing onsite orthodontic and maxillofacial services.
In 2007 Mark gained his BSc (Hons) in Dental Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University, where he now lectures on a part-time basis. His expertise is also used by the University as an MSc advisor for current MSc students. Mark has presented for the Dentofacial Anomalies group and has held practical demonstrations at the Manchester Dental Education centre.
In his spare time Mark likes to spend time with his family, going for walks and taking part in various out-door activities.
